At a time when traditional campers dominated, the Quantum stood apart as a purpose-built solution for harsh Australian conditions. It quickly became a benchmark, inspiring the wave of hybrid campers seen across the market today.
Built on a Proven Foundation
The original Quantum featured an aluminium framed pop-top, later evolving in 2014 to a lighter, stronger fibreglass body with refined internal materials. Cabinetry transitioned to aluminium for durability and weight savings, while the proven chassis and suspension have remained largely unchanged – a testament to the strength of the original design.
Continuous Innovation
Years of real-world testing by thousands of owners have shaped the Quantum into what it is today. What began as a simple, capable camper has evolved into a refined off road system designed for greater comfort and extended off grid travel.
Then vs Now
Today’s Quantum reflects a new era of capability. Induction cooking replaces gas, supported by a 600Ah lithium battery, 3000W inverter, and 525W solar system – all managed by advanced Redarc electronics. Earlier models relied on gas, smaller gel batteries, and minimal solar, highlighting just how far the platform has come.
The Quantum E
The latest evolution, the Quantum E, delivers a fully electric, gas-less experience. With advancements in solar and power systems, it offers a quieter, cleaner, and more efficient way to travel off-grid.

Every AOR model today is a direct descendant of the original Quantum. From its beginnings in 2008 to today’s fully electric platform, it remains the blueprint – continuously refined, yet grounded in durability, simplicity, and real-world capability.
